Obituary of Shirley C. Braveman

Shirley C. Braveman, 90, of Clifton Park, beloved wife of nearly 68 years of William D. “Bill” Braveman of Clifton Park, peacefully entered into eternal life surrounded by her husband, son and daughter-in-law on Sunday, February 18, 2018.

Born in Malden, MA, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Marjorie Lakeman Callahan and was a graduate of Machias High School in Machias, ME and Husson University in Bangor, ME. She had been a resident of Bangor, ME and also had resided on Lanark Dr. in Inverness, Florida for over 25 years.

Mrs. Braveman retired after 18 years of employment from the State of Maine Mental Health Hospital in Bangor where she had been a Nurses Aide and had previously been employed as a Secretary with the City of Bangor.

Beloved wife of Bill, devoted mother of Jeffrey (Carla) Braveman of Clifton Park, NY, Brian (Robin) Braveman of Northborough Mass, and Brent (Paul) Braveman, of Houston Texas, sister of Phillip Callahan of Levittown, PA, Roy Plummer of Belleview, Fl, Patricia Quinn of Lakeland, FL and the late Barbara Brewster and Thomas Bernie Callahan who passed at age 2. She loved her two Grandchildren, Deanne Braveman of Albany, NY and Jessica Braveman of NYC.

Private funeral arrangements have been entrusted by the family to the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 RT-9, Clifton Park, New York 12065. (518) 371-5454.
