Adrian Dewayne Spears

Adrian Dewayne Spears, 38, of Rensselaer, passed away unexpectedly after suddenly taking ill at home on Sunday evening, July 14, 2019 at the Albany Medical Center Hospital in Albany, New York.

Born and educated in Miami, FL, Adrian is the son of Grace Carmichael and Douglas Spears.

Adrian was employed by Capstone Logistics at the Hannaford Warehouse in Schodack, NY and had previously been employed at FedEx in East Greenbush.

He enjoyed playing cards, trying to replicate his mother’s southern style cooking and telling jokes. He always enjoyed spending time with his own as well as everyone else’s kids because he was just a big kid himself.

In addition to his dear parents Grace (Joseph Hill) and Douglas (Josephine), Adrian was the beloved domestic partner of Tiffany Brown, loving father of Adrian Spears, Jr., Milagrace Spears and Camron Brown, dearly missed brother of Jasmis (Rena) Carmichael, Joseph (Loretta)  Hill, Jo’Shuntia Hill and the late Christina Spears, grandson to the late Gloria Baker, Lester Spears, Charlie and Wynonia Carmichael, nephew of Josephine Livingston, Evangaline Williams, Raquel Carmichael, Morgan Carmichael, Laverne Carmichael, Sharon McKenney, True Miller, Norflett Harris, Kenneth Harris, Forrest Carmichael, Allen Carmichael and Ivory (Shandra Baker). Adrian has a special bond with his cousins, Julian Harris, Shaquandra Taylor and so many more, son-in-law of Renee M. (Kim Downey) Brown, grandson-in-law of Robert H. (late, Theresa) Brown. Adrian was also much loved by the Brown family which includes Tiffany’s siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins and their families as well as a host of Adrian's nieces and nephews, one great-niece and each respective families friends, who mourn Adrian’s untimely passing.

Relatives and friends are invited to Adrian’s visitation on Saturday, July 27, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Morris-Stebbins-Miner & Sanvidge Funeral Home, 312 Hoosick St., Troy, NY 12180 and to his funeral service that will celebrated there at 12 Noon.
