Obituary of Paul E. McCarthy

Paul E. McCarthy, 65, of Troy, NY, passed away Friday, January 6, 2017 at Bridgepoint Care Facility in Florence, KY. He was a U.S. Navy veteran having served from 1971 to 1975 and was stationed on nuclear submarines. He was employed by the federal government as a munitions expert. He was preceded in death by his parents: John and Velvia McCarthy. Paul is survived by his loving wife: Michele McCarthy, his beloved children: Ryan and Erin McCarthy, his grandson: Casey McCarthy, his siblings: John McCarthy (Connie), and Linda Atanasio, and his nephews: Nick Atanasio, Andrew McCarthy and Steven McCarthy. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Augustine Church, 25 - 115th Street (corner of Fourth Avenue in Lansingburgh) Troy, New York 12182.
