Obituary of George M. DuJack, Sr.

George M. DuJack, Sr., 87, of Town Office Road, Troy, (Town of Brunswick), died Thursday, February 2, 2017, at his residence. Born in Troy, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary Skowron DuJack. He was raised and educated in Troy. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was the President of Visilox Systems in Poestenkill. He is survived by his wife, Marge Baniak DuJack of Brunswick; three sons: George M. DuJack, Jr. and his wife, Debbie, of Brunswick, Joseph M. DuJack of Latham, and James M. DuJack and his wife, Karen, of Brunswick; a daughter, Christine M. Lindsay and her husband, Tom, of Latham; twelve grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; a sister, Theresa Strakos of Greenfield Center; and many nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2017, at 1:00 P.M. at the Oakwood Bible Church, 260 Oakwood Avenue, Troy, NY 12182, with the Rev. James M. DuJack, pastor, officiating. Friends are invited, and may call for up to one hour prior to the service, beginning at 12:00 noon. The interment will be in Memory's Garden Cemetery, 983 Watervliet-Shaker Road, Albany, NY 12205, on Tuesday, February 7, 2017, at 11:00 A.M. Those attending will meet just inside the gates to the cemetery by 10:55 A.M. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions in memory of Mr. DuJack be made to the Oakwood Christian School, 260 Oakwood Avenue, Troy, NY 12182.
