Obituary of Laura Henstenberg

Laura T. Riccio Henstenberg, 90, formerly of Third Avenue in Port Schuyler (Watervliet), beloved wife of the late Raymond F. Henstenberg, entered into eternal life on Friday, January 27, 2017. Born and educated in Middle Falls, New York, she was the daughter of the late Sante and Laura Colucci Riccio and was a graduate of Greenwich High School. Mrs. Henstenberg retired in 1991 after having been employed at several area motels and had previously been employed at the Stevens & Thompson Paper Mill in Greenwich. She was a communicant of the former St. Brigids Church in Port Schuyler and a was a member of the Watervliet Senior Citizens. Sister of the late Josephine Starteri, Joseph Riccio, Michael Riccio and Mary E. Jones. She is survived by her nieces and nephews; Paula Gilooly, Susan Seamans, William Jones, Michael Starteri and Della Henstenberg and their families. Relatives and friends are invited to her Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 2416 Seventh Ave, Watervliet, NY 12189 and to the interment which will follow in Graceland Cemetery, Albany. There are no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church (address above), in memory of Laura Henstenberg. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc., 565 Fourth Avenue, Troy, NY 12182.
