Obituary of Donna Barbara (Willey) Eder

Minneapolis, MN - Donna Barbara “Julie”  (Willey) Eder. Born November 8, 1959, daughter to Donald and Marilyn (Shea) Willey, Donna passed away in her husband’s arms at their home early Sunday morning, March 19, 2017.  She is survived by her husband, Patrick; mother, Marilyn Willey; brothers Lawrence, Phillip, Carlton, Norman, Bradford and sister, Elizabeth; aunts, uncles, several nephews, nieces and cousins.  Donna has been reunited with her father, Donald and brother, Richard  who predeceased her. A 1977 graduate of Shenendehowa High School, she continued her education at SUNY Brockport, earning a distinction of her name in the Who’s Who of American College Students;  she also  held a Master’s Degree in Computers in Education; ; Master’s Degree in Religious Studies from Columbia University; other studies included computer graphics in Chicago. Suffering from multiple sclerosis most of her adult life, she did not allow it to slow her down.  Her true passion in life was her love and devotion to her faith; spending countless hours serving her church and community with an electric, positive vigor.  She never passed up an opportunity to buy a cup of coffee for a homeless person, give the coat off her back to a young child, or give her last dime to someone in need; truly walking the talk. On April 1,  a service in her honor was held at the  Richfield United Methodist Church,  5835 Lyndale Avenue, S. Minneapolis, MN 55419 Donations can be made in her memory to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, PO Box  4527, New York, NY 10163
