Q: How did you meet Shahava?
A: I was one of her supervisors at UAlbany. Shahava was a loving and caring individual. When she clocked into work she was locked in always creating a wonderful experience for the student and her coworkers. She was a lover if she loved you, you knew no doubt about that she was full of jokes our time went by so fast so always had us laughing and had a good time. Always creating some different type of food we always had to try a protectionist at best. She was my girl I use to just look and she already knew what I was going to say I was so happy when she told me she was pregnant as she was. She reached out when she needed a listening ear no judgement ever! I'm going to miss you so much you had a beautiful soul and everyone you touched paths with I know feels the same way I love you Hava and I know that was mutual

The passing of Shahava has deeply saddened our hearts. She was a beacon of light in Phalen Court, where we spent many cherished childhood moments. Her spirit was characterized by love, kindness, and selflessness imbued with infectious humor. Always thoughtful and ever courageous, her unwavering optimism and passionate soul made every interaction rich with warmth. We remember her generous acts fondly for they were numerous. When I think of our times we spent together I think of us dancing in aunt tina livingroom lol n singing so loud. I think of our conversation and you telling me to bring the baby's so you could kidnap them because u love kids n your family so much.
