Almetra A. Berkley Hubbard, 80, of Albany, formerly of Troy, passed away in the comfort of her home surrounded by and in the loving care of her loving family on Sunday, January 26, 2025.

Born in Jetersville, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Dorsey G. and Helen Ruth Brown Berkley.

Miss. Hubbard had been employed at Siena College in Loudonville.

She was enthralled watching our 45th and 47th President Donald J. Trump at any moment that she could. She also loved crossword puzzles, sewing, cooking and had been a member of Kingdom Hall North Congregation in Albany.

Loving sister of Robert “Mack” Berkley and Mary Tina Berkley, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

CHANGE IN SERVICE - Relatives and friends will be invited to her graveside committal service which will be at a more definite date and time to be announced here on this website page.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted by the family to the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc., 565 Fourth Avenue (at the corner of 115th Street in Lansingburgh) Troy, New York 12182.
