Star trek will not be the same without Dad anymore. I would recite many quotes from the series and it would always make him chuckle. I just dont think it I could make anyone else chuckle with my star trek humor. I lost a best buddy forever.

I am so sorry to hear of Joe's passing. I haven't seen him for years but I know his death will leave a large hole in his family and his faith community. We were cousins. My prayers this Holy Week will be said for Joe and his family.

I met Joe through my friend, his son Joey.
Every memory I have of Joe was always one of goodness and kindness.
I loved listening to him tell us stories of his early years in Albany, as I love to learn local history.
Joe was not only an acquaintance, but a friend.
He will be missed!

Papa was my first American dad when I got married to his son Joey and moved to the US in 2013 with my parents staying back in Ukraine. He truly treated me like his daughter. He was always loving, caring, very helpful despite not feeling well most of the time, selfless, humble, a true embodiment of Christ. He was a man of a few words who was very deep, kind, genuine, sympathetic with a heart of gold. He built an amazing, inseparable bond with his grandson Joe Joe. They were the best buddies ever. I'm very sad that Papa wouldn't be able to create the same bond with his granddaughter Abigail. We will be sure to show Abigail pictures and videos of Papa to continue his legacy. He will be missed immensely by all of us!!!
