Obituary of Patricia M. Durivage
Patricia Marie (Esposito) Durivage, 90 of North Greenbush passed away surrounded by her loving family on June 9, 2025.
She was the daughter of the late Patsy Esposito and Antoinette (Scorsone) Esposito. She was the beloved wife of Joseph George Durivage, Sr. whom she married on 10/11/1953. Their love was 72 years strong. She was the loving mother of Ronald (Gayle Kirsch) Durivage of North Greenbush; Kenneth and Rosemary (Barba) Durivage of North Greenbush; Marie (Michael) Schongar of Brunswick; Susan (Thomas) O’Connell of North Greenbush; Robert (Diane Lang) Durivage of North Greenbush and the late Joseph (Angela) Durivage, Jr. of Conway, SC. Sister of the late Joseph Esposito, Albert Esposito, Thomas Esposito, and Louise Sweet. She loved and adored her 25 grandchildren, her 25 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. She will be an angel to her unborn great grandchild and unborn great-great grandchild on the way. Grandmother of the late Joseph Coleman and Christopher Carroll. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and dear extended family Kathy Durivage, Kathy Durivage Bubeck, and the late Kelly Sanvidge, Sr.
She attended Troy High School and acquired her GED. She was employed at Manory’s, Tiny Town Togs, Montgomery Ward’s, Weber’s Machine Shop and her long-term career of 42 years as a sales associate at Key Bank where she retired in 2014. Her achievements included winning trips to Arizona and Florida for top sales in the region and she loved her customers like her family.
She was a parishioner of St. Michael’s the Archangel Church, Troy, NY for most of her life. She was a member of the ladies’ auxiliary at St. Jude’s the Apostle Church and the Troy Elks. For over 41 years, she was the North Greenbush Common School District Tax Collector. She had a passion for cooking Italian meals for her large family and traveling to many destinations. She loved cruises, her trips to Hawaii, and many winters in Punta Gorda, Florida with her son. She traveled to Aruba for more than 40 years. Her love for being outdoors in the sun made her the happiest.
Calling hours will be held at St. Michael the Archangel Church; 175 Williams Rd., Troy, NY 12180 on Friday, June 13, 2025 from 9:15 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., Family Reflections will be offered at 10:45 a.m. and the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated beginning at 11:00 am.
Interment will be held in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Troy.
Patricia’s family would like to express their sincere thanks to the amazing caregiving team that we had for Mom daily; MJ, Jen, Sherry, Lori and Jackie - you are the best caregiving team we could have asked for. Thank you for loving our mom. They would also like to offer their grateful thanks to the Community Hospice for all their guidance and support.
