Pat was a great neighbor and friend. We’ll always remember his smile and jovial personality growing up on Teakwood Drive. Whether it was playing wiffle ball with us, hosting a bon fire or giving us buzzcuts for the summer, he always gave so much of himself. We couldn’t have asked for better neighbors. We’re sure he’s been reunited with Zach. Our hearts and prayers are with Sheila, Tyler, Michael and the entire Morrissey family during this sorrowful time.

Shiela and boys, there .are truly no words for your tremendous and painful loss. Emily and I both have broken hearts . Although I never met Pat , I did hear many stories of Patio ! I feel I knew him through my daughter’s tales of the Morrissey family ! My daughter and the triplets went to school together from elementary to graduation, and beyond . She loves your family like her own . May god heal your pain and sorrow . Know we are here for you always .

I worked with Pat at the Governors Office of Regulatory Reform back in the late 1990s, we were both on the "Development Team" . I remember when his triplets were born and he was such a proud and scared father. He was so happy yet very much serious about his new responsibilities. His approach to this challenge was just like he approach to life, serious, though pout and determined to be the best he could. After a few years Pat moved to different a different agency and career path. As I read his obituary I see that he continued his life journey with the same determination and sense of responsibility. He was a true man and I am sad he has left us. His next mission has begun. To Shelia and Tyler and Michael, your husband and dad was a true friend and had a great sense of humor. I am sad to learn that Zach pre-deceased his father but I am sure there has been perfect reunion with each other right now. My prayers to the entire family. Pat used to always say, "There is no "I" in team, but there is a "me". " he was of course right. God bless the Morrisey Family. Please know, that Pat is remembered by those who knew him from long ago. Peace to you.

I saw Pat just a week prior at an AAU tournament at the Impact Center as I had so many times before. He loved the game and we always shared some great stories. He always had a smile on his face and I loved seeing him. A beautiful man gone too soon. The world would be a better place with more Patrick Morrissey's. God bless you my friend, may you rest in peace.

Sheila and family, we were so very saddened to hear of the loss of such a wonderful husband and father. Please accept our deepest condolence's.
Although I haven’t seen Pat in years I can’t help but smile when I think of the many years we worked together at Michaels and the laughs (and beers) we shared there. I can distinctly hear Joe Cocca shouting out “Patio Furniture” whenever Pat walked into the kitchen. The name stuck all these years later!
May our good friend rest in peace and may you find comfort in the love and support of your family and friends.
