I have known Judy for 40 years now as my beloved neighbor and friend. She was an extremely kind, thoughtful, pleasant and intelligent woman. It was always a pleasure to be in her company and talk to her on the phone.
Her husband, Dick, was a friend and mentor to me at Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory (KAPL) where we both worked. He too was a fantastic person. Upon his passing several years ago, she gave me the opportunity to help her with miscellaneous home repair projects, which I did was great pleasure. These interactions with her made me respect and appreciate her even more. An example of her thoughtfulness and kindness was that on a one occasion I informed her of a bothersome skin cut. The next day, she called me over and gave me a bottle of her favorite healing remedy that she specifically bought for me. It worked great. I still use it to this day, in fact on my second bottle, always thinking fondly of her each time I use it.
While I will miss being in her company, I will always rememberall these cherished memories of her.
