Mary, you are always smiling and having too much fun. Lots of memories and laughter! We love you and say hi to John for us. I am still feeding the birds, so come visit anytime! When Irish eyes are smiling, I will be thinking of you!

We attended mass at St. Edward's this evening as it is the anniversary of my sister's passing. The memorial intentions began with a remembrance of my father, Ronald Lamont, and ended with mention of Mary's recent passing which was a shock.
What a caring friendship Mary and my parents shared, and so much loving kindness during difficult times. Mary was true to her friendship in the last few years since my Dad passed away, never forgetting and letting me know how much she missed them both. I wish I had been as true -- always one more thing to do and I never did pick up the phone to invite her to join me at the Legion to reminisce as I had intended. I cried for Mary and her daughters at the news tonight, I cried with regret for my disregard of someone so precious to my parents. and I cried for the loss of such a rare friendship in the world. But somehow I also felt it would make Mary happy to be linked with her dear friends this evening in the mass intentions. And I know without doubt that her reunion with John has brought her peace. To a beautiful woman and kind soul. Give all a big hug for us, Mary.
