Obituary of Eddie Jordan

Edward William “Eddie” Jordan of Halfmoon, beloved 10 year old son of Thomas P. and Rebecca A. Emery Jordan, and the adored little brother to Jemma Jordan, passed away unexpectedly at home on Monday, January 19, 2026.

Eddie was born in Albany, NY, has been a raised in Halfmoon and currently was a 5^th grader at Shatekon Elementary School in Clifton Park where he was also known as the “Mayor of Shatekon”.

As much as Eddie was just ten years old, those years were filled Eddie love which he exhibited for all of his animals, his love of barbequing, cooking, building with his Dad and using all of his tools. Eddie especially loved his tablet and watching YouTube videos on it of Blippi, Llama -  Llama, Cowboy Jack and the Shatekon mascot which he loved immensely. All of these brought him much joy and comfort.

Those who knew Eddie, knew him to be a very sweet young man who could be a bit mischievous, which was a reflection of his personality.

In addition to his mom Becky, dad Tom and sister Jemma, Eddie is the loving nephew to Rose Emery, Michael Jordan, Timothy (Anna) Jordan and the late Rose Jordan, great nephew of Jeanie VanNest, adopted grandson of Sheila Navojosky, and is also survived by Angel Jordan -  his emotional support animal and so many others at Shatekon and in the Halfmoon/Clifton Park community who loved and cared so much for Eddie.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 RT-9, Clifton Park, NY 12065 on Tuesday, January 27, 2026 from 4 to 7 p.m. where at 6 p.m. a service celebrating Eddie’s life will begin with those attending able to share their memories.

Eddie’s family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Department as well as to the Clifton Park - Halfmoon Emergency Corps EMS personnel for their efforts and everything that they have done as well as for their support and care.
