Obituary of Patricia G. Breen

Patricia G. "Patty" Breen, 81, of Lansingburgh, peacefully entered into eternal life in the comfort of her home surrounded by her family on Wednesday, January 21, 2026.             

Born in Troy, NY, she was the daughter of the late John and Catherine Davis Gilooly and was a graduate of Catholic Central High School.

Mrs. Breen had worked in Food Service at Lansingburgh High School.

Beloved wife of the late George F. Breen, Jr., devoted mother of George F. Breen, III of Troy and Colleen (Dustin) Falcone of Johnsonville and Kelly (William Morrisey) Breen of Troy, sister of Albert (late, Victoria) Gilooly, Richard “Dick” (late, Charlene) Gilooly and the late John (late, Paula) Gilooly; cherished grandmother of Sarah (Derek) Fox, Katie Breen, Mary Breen, Maureen Falcone and Kasey Falcone, great grandmother of Caelen Fox, Harrison Fox and Keane Fox, also survived by several nieces and nephews. 

A private Catholic Rite of Committal Service will be held in St. John’s Cemetery, Troy.

Patricia’s family would like to offer their sincere appreciation and gratitude to Darlene Hoffman, FNP Community Hospice-Kalissa, Jake, Debbie, and Sonia for their kindness, compassion, and care.
