Obituary of Charles L. Male

Charles L. Male, 82, passed away on January 23rd, 2026 at Schenectady Center Rehabilitation.  

Charles “Charlie” was born in Troy, NY and a lifetime resident of Clifton Park, NY.  He was the son of the late Charles J. Male and Hester Hatlee Male. He was also predeceased by his sister, Phyllis Male Western.  Charles was a graduate of Shenendehowa High School, served honorably in the United States Air Force and was a sales associate at Marshall’s in Latham, NY in their Jewelry Department. Charles’ passion was antiques and he could be seen at many flea markets selling his book, jewelry, bottles and art work.

Charles is survived by his friends and caretakers, Susan Howard and Mark Hill, as well as many beloved cousins and special neighbors. 

Funeral services will be held on May 2nd at Amity Reformed Church, 335 Riverview Road, Rexford, NY 12148, with Visitation that day a 10 a.m., Service at 11 a.m. followed by burial in the Vischer Ferry Cemetery.  Reception is immediately following at Amity Reformed Church Hall. 

Those wishing to make memorial contributions may be made to Amity Reformed Church in memory of Charles L. Male.
