Obituary of Colleen Helen Terry

Colleen Terry (Sarr), daughter of the late Robert and Helen Sarr, born December 26, 1948 in Ellenville, NY passed away peacefully on August 13, 2025, in Palm Bay, FL at the age of 76.

Colleen worked for New York State Insurance Fund for thirty years and retired in 2000 as Associate Comp Claims Examiner. She spent the last twenty-five years enjoying retirement on Florida's east coast and occasionally braving the Buffalo weather to spend time with her grandchildren.

Colleen is survived by her husband of 33 years, Ethan Cohen; daughter Dawn "Jo" (Jamie); son Patrick (Molly); stepdaughter Gabrielle (Ricky); and grandchildren Isabella "Hunter", Angelina, & Julianna.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Graveside Service on Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. at St. John's Cemetery, 250 Cemetery Rd. Troy, NY 12182

Colleen was always smiling and was loved by all who knew her. She will be missed but not forgotten.
