Obituary of Pamela S. Richardson
Pamela S. “MyMom” Richardson, 73, of Sycaway (Troy), peacefully entered into eternal life on Friday, June 5, 2026 surrounded by her loving family at Samaritan Hospital in Troy.
Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Mary Jayne Hofnagle Richardson, attended Catholic Central High School and was a 1971 graduate of Troy High School. Pamela is predeceased by her sister and best friend, Donna Eddy. She continued her education with various college classes when time would allow with a busy family life.
Pam loved everyone and if she didn’t like you, you knew. Her laugh will be remembered by many.
She enjoyed movies, going to plays (especially musicals), beaches, going out to dinner with the girls, traveling, fishing and in earlier years, skiing and ATVing. She loved her kitty, Lanie and her kittens Zoro and Stevie. Pam was very active in the Babcock Lake community in the 1980’s and early 1990’s. She continued to spend time with her family on the beach. Pam especially loved spending time with her grandbabies, as she called them, and taking full advantage of her iPhone location app to keep up on all of their activities. Pam “MyMom” adored her 8 grandkids and was equally adored by them. Pam was living her best life with Rory by her side. Her claim to fame was being a contestant on the Kelly and Mark show and winning an all-inclusive trip to Riviera Maya Mexico from Lionel Richie (she wished it was Kelly!) and Ryan Seacrest who were the fill-in hosts.
Devoted mother to Jessica (David) Klingaman, Shannon (Todd) Ewing and Thomas McNally, Jr., beloved companion of 30 years to Rory Poulin “the love of her life”, cherished grandmother to Kirsten, Cass, and Ainsley Klingaman, Hunter and Cameron Ewing, Tommy, Sunny and River McNally, also survived by her brother-in-law Robert Eddy, nieces Gretchen Eddy and Brooke Quintal, cousin Reverend James M. Mackey, and several great nieces and a great nephew. Pamela is also survived by her former husband and father of her three children, Thomas B. McNally, Sr.
