Obituary of Kristine Frohnhoefer

Kristine Frohnhoefer of Ocala, Florida, beloved wife of Robert Frohnhoefer of 60 years, passed away peacefully on May 23^rd, 2026 at the age of 78.

Born in Troy, NY, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Burdick and the late Frances Stanton Burdick. She was preceded in death by her brothers Robert and Richard Burdick. 

After graduating from Catholic Central High School in Troy, she began working for NY State before moving with her husband to Guam, Texas and Maine during his military service. Settling in Clifton Park to raise their family, Kristine was a loving and devoted mother as well as a small business owner operating a ceramic store where she taught painting courses and years later a successful pizza restaurant.

From summers in Saratoga at the Race Course and the Schaghticoke Fair to winters spent vacationing in the sun, Kristine loved to travel, play golf and live life to the fullest. 

Kristine is survived by her husband Robert “Bob”, her children Robert (Melissa) Frohnhoefer, Stacy Horn, Kelly (Marc) Elsayed, Adam (Kori) Frohnhoefer, and Jason (Ashley) Frohnhoefer.  She is also survived by her sister Kathleen Holmes, as well as 15 grandchildren, 1 great grandson and many nieces and nephews.

Friends and relatives are invited to join her family for a Celebration of Life to be held at the Clifton Park Elks Lodge, 695 MacElroy Road, Ballston Lake, NY on Saturday, July 18, 2026 beginning at 2:00pm. 

Those desiring, may make memorial contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association, in memory of Kristine Frohnhoefer.
