Obituary of Barbara A. Bull
Barbara A. Bariteau Bull, 87, of Lansingburgh, beloved wife of the late William F. Bull, entered into eternal life peacefully on Thursday, June 18, 2026 at Community Hospice Inn at St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany.
Born and educated in Cohoes, NY, she was the e daughter of the late Emery and Beatrice Farrell Bariteau.
Mrs. Bull was a dedicated homemaker, wife and mother and had also worked as a nurse’s aid, in the Cafeteria at Troy PS#12 and in her younger years as a barmaid at several establishments in Cohoes.
She loved BINGO, to crochet, trips to the Casino, her morning coffee and toast as well as a hard roll with butter and peanut butter on occasion. Her favorite holiday was Christmas.
Beloved mother of William Bull, Robert “Bobby” (Michelle Orr) Bull, Kenneth “Kenny” (Amanda) Bull, Kathleen “Kathy” Smythe, Patricia "Pattie" (Robert) West, Louis and the late, James “Jimmy” Haak, sister of James Bariteau, the late Raymond Bariteau, the late, William Bariteau, the late, Teresa Weeks, the late, Beatrice Gardner and the late Elizabeth Jackson, also survived by many grandchildren, great great grandchildren and two great great great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews and their families.
Relatives and friends are invited to the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc., 565 Fourth Avenue (at the corner of 115th Street in Lansingburgh) Troy, NY 12182 on Friday, June 26, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. for the Visitation where at 11:00 a.m. the funeral service will be celebrated.
Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, in Troy.
Barbara’s family would like to express their most sincere appreciation to Barbara’s granddaughter Samantha Riley for all of her loved and care that she provided to her grandmother as well all of the caregivers at Community Hospice Inn at St. Peter’s Hospital.
