Dorothy M. Klee “Dottie”, 98, of Brunswick and formerly a Winter resident of Sun City Center, FL, peacefully entered into eternal life on Friday, July 3, 2026 at Shaker Place in Colonie.

 

Born in Troy, NY, she was the daughter of the late George and Mary Halligan Felt and was the beloved wife of the late Martin J. “Marty” Klee who passed away on March 24, 2007. Dottie was a graduate of Troy High School.

 

Dottie was a homemaker and also worked at Samaritan Hospital for many years.

After she retired, she and Marty became snowbirds in Sun City Center, Florida.

 

Dottie loved being a homemaker, Italian food, playing BINGO and cards with the ladies at ROUSE, warm weather which made Sun City winters a must and reading PEOPLE magazine. She was a longtime communicant of Our Lady of Victory Church in Sycaway.

 

Devoted mother of Linda (Jack) Argay, Debra (Mike) Czornyj, Gary (Terry Peters) Klee and Kim (Mitch) Sneck, cherished grandmother of Kristen (Rod) Cunha, Meghan D’Adamo, Jaymie (Jonathan) Lowe, Katie (William) Jabour, Marshal (Zoe) Klee, David (Mary Kate) Klee, Henry Klee, Michelle (Michael Crepinsek) Sneck, and the late SSG Matthew Sneck, U.S. Army, adored great grandmother of the late Chelsea Cunha, Olivia Cunha, Lila D’Adamo, Abigail Lowe, Ashton Lowe, Eleanor Jabour, Lilith Crepinsek, Quinn Crepinsek, sister of the late Constance (James) Whalen. Dottie was also survived by several nieces and nephews and awaiting the arrival of two great grandchildren.

 

Relatives and friends are invited to Our Lady of Victory Church, 55 N. Lake Ave, Troy, NY 12180 on Wednesday July 8, 20026 for Calling Hours from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. where at 12:00 p.m. Reflections of Dottie’s Life will be offered and then at 12:15 p.m. her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Thomas Morrette, Pastor.

 

Following the Mass, the Rite of Committal service will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Troy.

 

Dottie’s family would like to express their sincere appreciation and gratitude to the staff at Samaritan Hospital and at Shaker Place in Colonie for their kindness and compassion in caring for her. We would also like to express our appreciation to all her friends at ROUSE in Brunswick for their friendship and kindness toward Dottie over the many years she resided there.
