Obituary of LeRoy J. Willingham, Sr.

LeRoy J. Willingham, Sr., 82, of Clifton Park, NY, beloved husband for 64 years to Aliki (Lee) Pappas Willingham, peacefully entered into eternal life on Tuesday, August 4, 2026.

Born in Albany, NY, he was the son of the late Delos and Pauline Akins Willingham and was a graduate of Phillip Schuyler High School.

Mr. Willingham retired from United Parcel Service (UPS) in Latham where he was a Truck and Delivery Driver. He was a member of Teamsters Local # 294. 

He enjoyed the quiet and peace of his backyard and especially loved his wife’s cooking.

Mr. Willingham was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting, football, basketball and deer collectables. 

Beloved husband to Lee, devoted father of Joelle Willingham-Fant, LeRoy Willingham, Jr. and Marcus Willingham, leaving behind brothers Benjamin, John, Elijah, (Wanda Faye), and sister Violet Willingham, a cherished grandfather of Brandon and Jaelen Fant,

Isaiah Willingham, Jayden Kennley Willingham, Ava Willingham and Mia Willingham.

Adored great grandfather of Amaris Rivera-Fant. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, their families, relatives and friends

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2026 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. with a Service to begin at 2:00 p.m. all in the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 RT-9, Clifton Park, NY 12065

Interment will be held on Monday, August 10, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. in Graceland Cemetery, Albany. NY
