Obituary of Harald H. Moore, Jr.

Harald H. Moore, Jr., 59, of Speigletown (Town of Brunswick) passed away on Thursday August 13, 2026 at Albany Medical Center Hospital as the result of an accident while riding his motorcycle.

Born in Troy, NY, he is the son of Barbara Kemp Powley and George Powley. He was a graduate of Troy High School, and Hudson Valley College.

Harald’s calling in life was to be a Respiratory Therapist, having worked for Nathan Littauer Hospital in Gloversville and previously at St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany.

Along with helping others, he especially loved scuba diving, and riding his motorcycle. Most of all he loved playing with his dog Kooper and spending time with Maricy, the love of his life.

He was a beloved companion and partner for 18 years to Maricy Gula Kingery, and his bonus child; Ryland Kingery.

A Celebration of Life will be held on August 26^th, at the Chapel at St. Peter’s Hospital at 6:30PM.

Harald’s family would especially like to thank those of you who remember and hold Harald fondly in their hearts.
