Obituary of Ivy OI HA Ho- Lam

Ivy Oi-Ha Ho-Lam passed away peacefully surrounded by her love family on Tuesday October 4, 2016 at Albany Medical Center. She has been battling with cancer for over three years. She was 65. Ivy was born in Hong Kong, and later adapted a new lifestyle in the United States in the late 90's. She enjoyed the beauty of the nature in the upstate New York very much. Ivy was a world traveler; she had swum in the Atlantic and Pacific Ocean, the South China and Caribbean Sea, as well as spending time in plenty of countries across 3 continents. Ivy was kind, caring and devoted to her family. She enjoyed the gathering of her family and fond of passion in her cooking. Ivy also loved to watch tennis and attended the US Open courtside. A loving wife, mother and sister, she is warmly remembered as the beloved wife of Gary Ho; a devoted mother of Wesley and Larry; caring sister of brother W.P. Lam and his wife Cecilia, Emily Lam, Cyndy and her Husband Clemens Wong, Amy Lam, and Katy and her husband Philip Kirk; and is survived by all her nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends. Ivy's family would welcome you to join them at Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Route 9, Clifton Park, NY 12065 for a visitation on Saturday October 15th, 2016 from 8:30am to 10:30am. Cremation will follow at Oakwood Cemetery with the company of her close family. Flowers for the service are welcome.
