Obituary of Kenneth D. Ehlert

Kenneth D. "Kenny" Ehlert, 53, of Ballston Lake, suddenly entered into eternal life on Friday, February 16, 2018.

Born in Albany to Carolyn E. Howe Ehlert and William J. Ehlert, he was a graduate of Shenendehowa High School.

Kenny owned and operated Kenneth Ehlert Painting in Ballston Lake.

He loved football, golfing, riding his motorcycle, attending concerts and the "The Track" in Saratoga.

He was a cherished son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, nephew and friend and will be extremely missed by all of those who had the pleasure to have known him.

Beloved son of Carolyn E. Howe Ehlert (Paul Gundrum) and William J. Ehlert, Sr. (Parry), devoted brother of William J. "Bill" (Catherine) Ehlert, Jr. of Queensbury, cherished uncle of Ashlee (Corey) Soprano and their sons Lucas and Benjamin, Chelsea (Adam) Snyder and their son Payson, his youngest niece Kelly Ehlert and was the nephew of Harold (Gail) Howe.

Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and to the funeral service which will begin at 8:00 p.m. in the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 RT-9, Clifton Park, NY 12065.

Spring Interment will be held in the Malta Ridge Cemetery, Malta.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are encouraged to Homes For Orphaned Pets Exists (H.O.P.E.), P.O. Box 2497, Wilton, NY 12831, in memory of Kenneth D. Ehlert.
