Obituary of Donald T. Peckham

Donald T. "Donnie" Peckham, 67, of Troy, entered into eternal life on Wednesday, April 4, 2018.

Born in Scotia, he was the son of the late Francis "Frank" and Ruth Aleman Peckham and was a graduate of Scotia-Glenville High School.

Prior to his disbaility of many years, he was employed with a Schenectady independent  moving company assisting them with moves locally as well as cross-country.

Donnie was fond of his cats, loved baseball, taking a chance on scratch-off lottery tickets, hanging out at Kennedy's Garage in Troy and would always remember to get a birthday card and to include a scratch-off lottery ticket to give to those he cared for. He was also an accomplished competive bowler who was mentored by his brother Dick Peckham.

He is the cousin of Mary Jean Orr, Walter Krester and William Krester, dearest friend of Toni and Cliff Craft and Rich McDermott. He was predeeased by two brothers; Dick Peckham and Jack Peckham.

Donnie's relatives and friends are invited to a calling hour on Monday, April 9, 2018 from Noon to 1:00 p.m. and to his Funeral Service which will begin at 1:00 p.m., both in the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc., 565 Fourth Avenue (Corner of 115th Street in Lansingburgh) Troy, New York 12182.

Burial will be held in Oakwood Cemetery, Troy.

Those desiring, may make memorial contributions to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Avenue, Menands, NY 12204, in memory of Donald T. "Donnie" Peckham.
