Obituary of Ramesh C. Prabhu

Ramesh Prabhu of Clifton Park,NY, Wesley Chapel, FL, Geneganslet Lake, NY and formerly of Pleasantville, NY, San Jose, CA, San Diego, CA, Rochester, NY, Auburn, NY and India passed away at St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany on Oct. 23, 2016. Mr. Prabhu was predeceased by his parents, Mulchand and Parpati Thadani and a sister Sajni Thadani. He is survived by his wife of over 42 years, Catherine Dudley Prabhu. He is also survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Neil and Kara Prabhu. Mr. Prabhu was born in India, graduated with a degree in engineering from Banaras University and emigrated to the United States to pursue a Masters in Engineering from Oklahoma State and an MBA from the Simon School of Business at the University of Rochester. He held corporate distribution management oppositions with Bausch and Lomb, the Barnes Hind division of Revlon, AJF Distribution, Zotos and Natural Child Care. After leaving corporate employment he owned and operated QVS Drycleaning and Neil’s Café and Deli in Shopper’s World Plaza in Clifton Park. Funeral arrangements are private.
