Barbara McGough, 82, of Nott Terrace died on Wednesday Nov. 9, 2016 at the Capital Living and Nursing Rehabilitation Center in Schenectady. She was was born in Albany on Nov. 18, 1933 and was the daughter of the late William and Evelena Berg Clow. Barbara “Mother” McGough was the beloved wife of the late Charles McGough. She was a teacher and founding member of Refreshing Springs Community Church in Schenectady. She is the devoted mother of Bruce (Vanessa) Farmer, Jeffrey (Debbie) McGough, Marcie, Cheryl (Antonio), Heather, Carla McGough, Karen Winbush and the late Kevin McGough; sister of Donald (Chrissy) Clow and Marcella Flanders; also survived by several half brothers and sisters, 32 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and a host of extended family and friends. A Home Going Celebration will be held Thursday Nov. 17, 2016 at 12 noon in Refreshing Springs Community Church, 327 Georgetta Dix Plaza Schenectady, NY 12307. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park, Schenectady, New York. Memorial contributions may be made to Refreshing Springs Community Church, 327 Georgetta Dix Plaza, Schenectady, NY 12307 in her memory.
