My sincere condolences to the family. As someone who often worked with Taneisha at a city agency, we often communicated and frequently switched conversations from business to personal. We were looking forward to dragging me up to Albany to play in the snow of her new home. I am heartbroken to learn of her passing. She will be missed. Dear Mrs. Burrell, Rasheed, Jevon and Ne’seir,
On behalf of the Commissioners and Staff of the Commission on Ethics and Lobbying in Government, I am writing to let you know just how important your daughter and mother was to all of us and how saddened we are at her passing. Taneisha was a friend and an inspiration to everyone she encountered and never hesitated to help in any way she could. She was universally admired for her work ethic and for the dedication she brought to everything she did. Taneisha played an extremely important part in the work of our agency and was a tremendous asset not only to us, but to the people of our state. We are grateful for your having shared her with us for these many years. She will be dearly missed.
