Obituary of Robert A. Brink
Robert A. “Bob” Brink, 70, of NY-43, Averill Park (Town of Nassau), entered eternal life on Saturday, March 28, 2020.
Born and educated in Rochester, NY, he was the son of the late Harold L. and Joanne L. Trinchini Brink.
Bob was a decorated U.S. Army veteran having served as a Black Beret with Co A 75th Infantry in the Vietnam War and was awarded the Bronze Star, National Defense Service, Vietnam Service, Army Commendation, Republic of Vietnam Campaign and Marksmanship Medals as well as being decorated with Overseas Service Bars for his valiant service.
Bob owned and operated Brink’s Trucking and Excavating in Averill Park. Bob was well known and had a great reputation when he ran his first business; Brink’s Demolition which brought great pride to his sons.
He was an avid fan and enthusiast of trucks, rigs and classic cars.
Devoted father of Robert A. (Tracy) Brink, II and Randy (Elizabeth “Lizz”) Brink, brother of Vincent Brink, Bessie Primeau, David, Frances and Gloria Moore, cherished grandfather and “Pops” to Kenneth Reed, Carolyn Fleming, Brianna Brink, Aaliyah Edleblute, Dana Edleblute, Bobbi Jo Brink, James Clark and Michael Clark and great grandfather of Benjamin Fleming,
also survived by several nieces and nephews.
