Dad,
You had a long, and very proud journey...! You were not only a great Husband, Father, Grandfather/Great- Grandfather - but also a remarkable "Captain, Coach and Mentor" to so many kids in the South Troy area! Every where I go people remind me of the time, effort and dedication you gave to the community...
God Speed and rest well....you have more than earned it...!!
Peace to You...

My condolences to Cha's family on his passing. Cha taught us how to play baseball and conduct ourselves the right way; he gave us a foundation that has lasted throughout our lives. I had the pleasure of playing baseball for him in the South Troy Babe Ruth league and coaching CYO basketball against him. He was class all the way. One of the all-time best role models for young men. Thanks, Cha, for the many lessons.

Sis & Family.....so saddened to hear of Cha's passing....He was a wonderful person and a fun teammate to Wally. They played baseball & football together.. Cha was the leader, the captain..The good old days !!!!!The only problem Wally had with Cha was that you passed me up for him....he even won that one. Our hearts go out to all your family. Our sincere sympathies are with your family.

I was saddened to hear of Cha’s passing, my deepest condolences go out to the Walker family
And friends of Cha’s. Like so many other men of my age from South Troy, I too owe a debt of gratitude
To him. Not only for being my coach but for the many things he taught me about becoming a good man.
I know there are many others from several generations of men who owe him the same. God Bless, Rip.

Cha, was my Baseball coach in 1975 at South Troy for the United Cleaners. He drilled into us to always be focused and always be ready. especially when throwing the ball around the infield. If the next kid wasn't looking for the ball throw it at him anyway. I was always ready. Thanks Cha for that one championship year we had and being an excellent teacher.

My sincere condolences to the family. Cha coaches me at Lasalle Institute in Frosh basketball. He was a tough coach but under it all he truly cared about as players but more importantly as people. It’s been many many years since I’ve seen Cha but not so many years that I’ve forgotten all he taught a bunch of 14 year old kids about being men. God bless you Cha Rest In Peace.

With fond and appreciative memories. The man taught me how to play infield. The nastiest fungo alive. I remember he would hit to you until you made the play, or at least kept it in front of you which often meant taken it in the chest. His lessons led to decades of great baseball memories for me. Thanks Cha, RIP.
