Obituary of Matthew B. Leaper

Matthew B. Leaper, 49, of the Twin Lake Apts. died suddenly on Sept. 6, 2020 after being stricken at his residence. He was born on July 30, 1971 in Tupper Lake and was the son of Linda Gladd of Halfmoon, NY and Guy R. Leaper of Ft. Myers, FL. He was a graduate of Christian Brothers Academy in Albany. Matt received his associates in Applied Sciences from Hudson Valley Community College in 1996. He had been in retail sales management most of his life. Matt had worked for Fedex, Albany, BFI, Kmart and Allied Waste providing sales contracts to the customers. He was the devoted father of Jacob Leaper and Matthew Leaper who are survived by their mother, Kelly Leaper all of Glenville, NY; step brother of Devin Dinsmore of Albany, NY; brother of Richard (Ly Sanne) Leaper of Ft. Myers, FL, Christopher (Julie) Leaper of Latham, NY and Carlie (Hon. Paul) Pelagalli of Ballston Lake, NY; also survived by several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held privately at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery in Niskayuna, NY.
