Vincent A. “Vinny” Williams, 37, entered into eternal life on Friday, October 23, 2020.
Born in Ft. Langley AFB, Hampton, VA, Vinny was the eldest child of Lawrence G. “Larry” Williams and the late Christine Bedell Williams, who passed away in 2007.
Vinny grew up in Troy, NY and spent most of his life there.
He spent time working in the plumbers union and construction field.
Vinny enjoyed rap music, loved the NY Giants, watching football and baseball. Those who knew him, knew that he was very social with a boisterous personality and usually the center of attention at any gathering. He loved animals, dogs in particular. Vinny embraced his Italian culture and was very proud to be Italian, even having a tattoo on his arm that said, “Omerta”.
Survivors include Vinny’s Dad, Larry, his twin siblings; Lucas Williams and Lindsey Santangelo, his grandparents Lawrence and Rosemary Williams, several aunts, uncles and cousins
Private funeral services were entrusted by his family to the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 RT-9, Clifton Park, NY 12065.
Vinny’s family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to his long time best friend and positive influence in his life; Maurice Ioa, for being a real friend that cared about him. Please know that Vinny looked at you as a mentor and came to you when he needed advice.
