Obituary of Karen T. Rapp
Karen T. Rapp, 78, of Lansingburgh, beloved wife of the late William Rapp, entered into eternal life on Wednesday, January 27, 2021.
Born in Troy, New York, she was the daughter of the late William and Lucille White Crowley and was a graduate of Catholic Central High School.
Karen retired from the New York State Department of Transportation in Albany where she had been a Secretary.
She was a longtime communicant of St. Augustine’s Church in Lansingburgh.
Beloved wife of the late William Rapp, devoted sister of William Crowley of Clifton Park and the late John “Jack” Crowley, also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11:00 A.M. at St. Augustine's Church, Lansingburgh. For those not able to attend the Mass in person, you are able to view the live stream by pasting the following address into your web browser https://www.youtube.com/c/StAugustinesParishTroyNY where it will also be available for viewing for up to 24 hours following the Mass.
Relatives and friends are invited to visitation on Monday, February 1, 2021 from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. at the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, 565 Fourth Avenue (Corner of 115th Street in Lansingburgh), Troy, New York 12182.
Interment will be held in Elmwood Hill Cemetery, Troy.
All attendees must wear a facial covering, observe social distancing and understand that there are capacity limits which must be adhered too.
