Obituary of Nancy E. Troutman

Nancy E. Troutman, 62, of Delmar NY. entered eternal life on Friday Feb. 26, 2021 at the home of her sister Dianne in the loving care of family.  She was born in Manhattan and was the daughter of the late Thomas R. and Barbara G. (Flaherty) Barron.  Nancy received her bachelor’s degree from the College of St. Rose in Albany.  She worked for the New York State Retirement System for over 30 years before retiring in 2016.  Nancy was wonderful at crafts.  She loved the ocean and time spent at Newport, RI.  She had been a communicant of St. Matthews’s in Voorheesville and while living in Clifton Park, she attended St. Edward the Confessor Church.

She is the beloved wife of Robert P. Troutman, whom she married on Oct. 7, 1989; devoted mother of James G. (Cierra Paul) Troutman Selkirk, NY and David G. Troutman Delmar, NY; sister Dianne P. Barron Slingerlands, NY, brother Robert (Laura) Barron Voorheesville, NY and the late Stephen Barron; Sister-in-law Anne O. Troutman of Port Jefferson, LI; loving aunt of Stephen (Sarah) Barron and Rebecca Barron and Andrew Keeler.

Funeral will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 am at St. Edward the Confessor Church 569 Clifton Park Center Rd. Clifton Park, NY 12065 where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.

Calling hours will be held from 4-7 pm Tuesday in the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Rt. 9 Clifton Park, NY 12065.

Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont, NY.

Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Albany, 445 New Karner Rd. Albany, NY 12205.
