Obituary of Rhonda Rheaume

Rhonda Rheaume, 74, of the Baptist Retirement Center and former Mechanicville resident, lost her battle with Alzheimer’s Disease on Friday Feb. 26, 2021. 

Rhonda was born in France on June 4, 1946, and was the daughter of Rudy Albrecht and Renee Fick Albrecht.

Rhonda is survived by her former husband of 20 years, Richard Joseph Rheaume and her four daughters. She was the beloved mother of Julie Webber of The Dallas, OR; Kristin Jenkin (Graham) of San Francisco, CA; Jennifer Booth (Jason) of Ballston Lake, NY and Sara Rheaume of Warrensburgh, NY; she is also survived by grandchildren and a great grandchild.

Rhonda studied to become and then practiced as an RN. She later became a housewife and enjoyed working a 20 year career in retail at the Kmart in Clifton Park, NY from which she retired. Rhonda had a fierce passion for saving animals, watching sports, eating ice cream and taking scenic car rides. Her favorite places to visit were the ocean and the White Mountains. Her family will never forget Rhonda’s unique laugh and facial expressions.

Funeral service will be private from the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Rt. 9 Clifton Park, NY 12065.

There will be no public calling hours.

In lieu of sending flowers, the family has asked that donations to the Alzheimer’s Association be made in Rhonda Rheaume’s name by going to alz.org
