Yolanda was born on November 27 1933 in the Bronx ,NY. She began her career with American Airlines and went on to work in the insurance industry before meeting her life long companion Frank. They wed in June of 1957 and raised a family shortly thereafter. "Yo" as her friends called her was vivacious, outgoing ,creative and a culinary genius. Instead of retiring in her fifty's, her and her husband fulfilled their dreams of living in the Adirondacks ,their favorite vacation spot, by purchasing and successfully operating as entrepreneurs, the Golden Arrow Hotel in Lake George for ten years. She spent her golden years enjoying her family. She was happiest making her family dinner, playing card games, and making sure there was laughter throughout her home. Her grandchildren were constantly exposed to new things and adventures and everyone was won over by her artistic flare. Yolanda had a fond love of the ocean and gardening and winning on the "slots",but most of all she had deep commitment to her children and grandkids by never missing a school or sporting event and backing them 100% on all their dreams.
The Cardone and Cranston families would like to extend their thanks to the Glendale Home for their care, compassion and support.
