All our love and respect to you in your time of sorrow... I will always remember Jim’s big smile when he greeted me and always asked me how I was feeling...

My condolences to the family. I lived across from the Donohues and can remember when Jim was born.

What a beautiful tribute, and so true. Jim was kindness and goodness personified. We’ll strive to pay it forward in kindness and think of him as we do. This is the best legacy that one could ever hope for- to spread more kindness in the world, and make each person’s day a little brighter, as Jim did with his sunny personality. One of my favorite memories is of Jim sitting at the communal table in the VFGS at Christmas time, idly leafing through the newspaper while wearing a hat that played holiday music as it flopped back and forth on his head. He found happiness in the simple things, and that’s an inspiration for all of us. He will be missed.
