Obituary of Josephine A. Case
Josephine A. “Juicey” Case, 92, of Sycaway, peacefully entered into eternal life at home in the loving care of her family on Wednesday, May 12, 2021.
Born and raised in Troy, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Angeline Valente Muscatello and was a graduate of Troy High School. She was the beloved wife of over 67 years of the late Patrick J. "Pat" Case, who she married on January 14, 1950 after over four years of dating.
For 47 years, Juicey Owned and Operated Dino's Restaurant in Wynantskill with her husband, Pat.
She loved her family and all of the times which they spent together, getting her hair and nails done right up until her most recent manicure and hair appointment.
Devoted mother of Frederick A. (Eileen) Case of Troy, Patrick J. (Lisa) Case, Jr. of Rotterdam, Edie (Don) Miller and Jim Case, both of Troy, sister of the late Louis, Joseph, Harry, Larry and Helen Muscatello and the late Edith Riggione, cherished grandmother of Donny (Shannen) Miller, Tricia (Bob) Facto, Louis (Jennifer) Case, Michael (Lisa) Case, Patrick J. "PJ" (Shawnna) Case, III, Robert (Nicole) Case, Courtney (Chris) Case, Alyssa Jackey and Andrea Jackey, adored great grandmother of Mckensi, Harper, Sydney, Zachary, Bobby, Joey, Tommy, Sammy, Derek, Matthew, Taylor, Tessa, Michael and Sophie, also survived by several nieces and nephews and their families.
Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours on Sunday, May 16, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Morris-Stebbins-Miner & Sanvidge Funeral Home, 312 Hoosick Street, Troy, NY 12180 and to St. Jude the Apostle Church, 43 Brookside Avenue, Wynantskill, New York 12198 where on Monday, May 17th at 9:30 a.m. her Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by her nephew, The Very Reverend Anthony Ligato, Pastor.
Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Troy.
Josephine’s family would like to offer their sincere gratitude to her daughter-in-law Eileen, who was her special caregiver and angel, for which they will be always grateful. The family would also like to give thanks to their loving neighbor and nurse, Tammy Ostrowski, who provided comfort and support as Josephine entered into eternal life.
