Obituary of Jeffrey Davison Moore
Jeffrey Davison Moore, 55, of Clifton Park died unexpectedly on Tuesday May 18, 2021 at his residence. He was born in Poughkeepsie, NY and was the son of
Davison and Sara Morrill Moore. Jeff was a graduate of Arlington High School and Marist College, with a bachelor’s degree in communications. Jeff worked as a Senior Systems Analyst for the New York State Dormitory Authority in Albany, and was very skilled in computer sciences.
He is survived by his wife Cassandra L. McClain-Moore.
He was the devoted father of Katherine I., Elizabeth A., and Maxwell J. Moore,
whom he gave the entire world and all his love. He is also survived by his brother James T.C. Moore, sister-in-law Kara, nephew Oliver Moore; as well as several cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews both in and outside the Hudson Valley.
Jeff proudly served in the 82nd Airborne as a paratrooper and as a G-2 Intelligence Officer. He served in Desert Storm, Iraq, and Just Cause, Panama. Jeff enjoyed building model tanks, classic movie monsters, and won many awards for his intricate art pieces, including creating multiple
museum exhibits in Upstate NY. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed camping and fishing with his family. Jeff had a green thumb and kept a magnificent backyard vegetable garden, alongside a jungle of green indoor plants.
Full military honors will be held on Thursday May 27, 2021 at 2:00 pm in the Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Rd. Schuylerville, NY.
An additional Memorial Celebration of Life will be held by the family at a later date in the Hudson Valley.
