Obituary of Michael T. Halloran

Michael T. Halloran, 76, of Corinth, died on Wednesday June 30, 2021 at Saratoga Hospital after losing a long battle to metastatic prostate cancer. He was born on Sept. 25, 1944 and was the son of the late John Thomas and Phyllis Gerrard Halloran. Michael was a graduate of Shaker High and Clarkson College, where he received his BS in mechanical engineering. He worked for DeAngelo Marine, Coulter Electronics, Electric Boat and the Ford Motor Co to name a few. He was revered for his engineering talent, machining, building, woodworking and repair of automobiles. His favorite time was spent on vacation annually at Hague on Lake George.

He is the beloved husband of Louise Will Halloran, whom he married on May 29, 1966. Devoted father of Keith M. (April) Halloran of Morrisville, PA, Christopher W. (Danielle Dobin) Smith of Westport, CT, Sarah E. (Tony Lupis) Halloran of Stratford, CT and the late Andrew Thomas Halloran; brother of Pat (James) Colloton and Debora E. Halloran; cherished grandfather of James, Jonny, Lillie, Ella, Sarah Maddie and Tommy. He is the lifelong and dear friend of Rick Dickinson; he is also survived by beloved nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be held on Thursday July 8th at 12 noon in the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Rt. 9 Clifton Park, NY 12065. Calling hours will be from 4-8 pm Wednesday July 7th and 10-12 noon Thursday July 8th in the funeral home.
