Obituary of Mary S. Rose

Mary "Maryln"  Shinski Rose, 87, a lifelong resident of Clifton Park, died on Sunday July 18, 2021 at Our Lady of Mercy Care Center in Guilderland, NY with her family by her side.

She was born in Charlton, NY on Jan. 9, 1934 to the late John T. and Jennie "Florence" Bruzdienski Shinski.  She was the beloved wife of the late Henry "Hank"  Karl Rose who died on Mar. 18, 2012.

She is the devoted mother of Patricia Rose McArdle (John) of Voorheesville NY and Paul A. Rose of Schuylerville, NY.

She is the beloved grandmother of Allison and Kathleen McArdle and Christopher Rose. 

She is survived by her brother, Harold Shinski and was predeceased by her sister, Regina Leddick.

She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many friends who loved her dearly.

Maryln graduated from Mechanicville High School.  She loved to bowl and  was a member of many leagues in Clifton Park over the years.  She also loved polka music.  She especially enjoyed her grandchildrens' plays, recitals and other activities and never missed a performance.

At the request of the family, funeral services are private.

Interment will be in the Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville, NY .

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, the Alzheimer's Association or the American Cancer Society.
