Obituary of Michael P. Olekoski

Michael P. “Ole” Olekoski, passed away suddenly at the age of 49 on Thursday, August 26, 2021. He was a loving son, father, brother, uncle, nephew and friend.

Michael was born on March 4, 1972 in Troy, NY and was a Class of 1990 graduate of Colonie Central High School. During Michael’s short life, he had many professions including construction, real estate agent, roof salesman and also owned and operated Badass Burrito and The Judge Inn in Troy. Michael was an avid bowler and loved watching the Jets.

Michael is survived by his four children, sons Roman and Quintin, daughter Annaleigh and Frankie, his mother Vickie Campagna Yonkers and stepfather Donald Yonkers, his father Alex “Ole” Olekoski and stepmother Margie Olekoski, brother Alex Olekoski, sisters Sarah Yonkers, Amanda Castaldo (Michael) and Stefanie Rossi, stepsister Kristina Horan, stepbrother Robert Horan and Special friend Ann Phibbs. Michael is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Thursday, September 2, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc., 565 Fourth Avenue, Troy, New York 12182.
