Obituary of Carol Karas Lieblein Tabor
Carol Karas Lieblein Tabor passed away peacefully on September 25, 2021. Born on December 20, 1941 in Woodside Queens, she was the daughter of the late Mary & Herbert Lieblein. Carol graduated from Southhold High and University of Bridgeport, and later moved to Latham to raise her family. She retired from Siena College as the Assistant Financial Aid Director in 1997. She and her late husband, Ward Tabor, moved to Murrels Inlet, SC in 1995 and back to Clifton Park in 2019.
Carol is survived by her two children Vanessa Farley of Clifton Park and Dean (Lori) Haita of Stephentown. She had 5 cherished grandchildren, Schyler (Sam) Nash, Amanda Farley, Elijah Haita, Reagan Farley and Samuel Haita. Carol had one great granddaughter Maci Nash who she treasured, and made Carol laugh until it hurt (literally).
Through her illness she found hope and comfort in the promises of God’s Word and was at peace knowing Jesus would meet her to bring her home. Carol wanted to thank Dr. Sharita Nagaraj for her exceptional kindness and St. Peter’s Hospice Inn for the wonderful care she received.
At Carol’s request there will not be any services. Donations, in memory of Carol Tabor, in lieu of flowers may be made to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Ave., Menands, NY, 12204.
