Obituary of Carol Ann Janczak
Carol Ann Blake Janczak
August 14, 1953-December 14, 2021
This earth lost an angel, as she joined her beloved Mother, (Adeline Rose Corona Blake), Father, (Kenneth Alfred Blake), grandson Henry Janczak and special Aunt Dee Dee (Ann Marie Corona Ruotolo) and other loved ones, leaving behind many whom she loved and loved her. She will be remembered as a loving partner, sister, cousin, mother, grandmother, and friend. Born in Troy, NY, she graduated from Troy High School in 1970, went on to get her cosmetology license and shortly thereafter Carol formed and became the owner of Val-Jan Skin Systems in Ballston Spa where she successfully operated for over 40 years. Carol was a kind, compassionate, loving, hard-working person and a great cook! She loved her family and clients, unselfishly making and delivering delicious food for every occasion. Her famous peanut butter pies and beautiful homemade blankets were enjoyed by all over the years. Cooking for and feeding people was a joy in Carol’s life, however, nothing compared to the joy and pride she had in her grandchildren. Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Jeffrey (Leigh) and Michael II (Heather), and her 4 beloved grandchildren, Rylan, Eleanor, Kaylyn and Andrew; her sister, Rose Ann Blake Savage; “sister”/cousin, Mary Ann Ruotolo Cortese (Phil); life partner, Bob DeMarco; special nieces, Elise Netoskie and Mia Cortese; former husband Michael Janczak, and numerous other cousins and friends.
A memorial Mass will be held on Monday, December 20, 12:00 noon, at Corpus Christi Church, 2001 US Route 9, Ushers, NY 12151.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Rt. 9 Clifton Park, NY 12065.
