Dear Ellen,
I’m so sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. I am late on my condolences for your dad as well, who I will always remember him playing the piano in the Kdg, room for the children on Sundays.
Please know you have been in my thoughts and prayers at this time.

Branson and Ruth were a team every early Sunday morning in children program at LCC. Branson would be playing God's melodies at piano and Ruth would be at the door way welcoming the children with gentle pat on their heads and surely greeting each child with a warmth of her smile. Her eyes full of gladness as she said good morning to each child. Thank you Judi and your family sharing Ruth's gentle and quiet spirit.

Dear Judi,
I just read the sad news of dear Ruthie's homegoing today! What a rush of memories, all good and so pleasant, went through my mind. How I'm thankfurl for the times spent with her, enjoying her sweet smile, relaxing in her warm and loving presence. How I loved to make her laugh, which was so easy since she was always so ready to join in and make me feel welcomed, and my words appreciated.
And I shall never forget the meticulous care and attention with which you served her, Judi, overflowing with sacrificial love that knew no bounds. And she was aware, and deeply appreciative of this.
She will definitely be missed, but only with warm feelings of gratitude to the Lord for bringing this dear woman of faith and love to be part of my life, though ever so briefly.
My loving condolences to each member of her family.

I met Ruthie and her daughter Judi at Hope UMC several years ago, and I fell in love with this lovely woman who glowed with warmth and grace. I looked forward to our short conversations each week. However, what I relished most was the hug that I received. So, it is that hug that I feel as I think if Ruthie. I know that she is happy and healthy and shouting Hallelujah having been reunited with loved ones and her Lord, Jesus. May I never forget her smile, her words of wisdom or her hugs. Thank you to her family for sharzing this incredible woman with me.

My dear Big Sister Ruth, Oh how I love you. Oh how I will miss you being here with us. I only wish that I had spent more time with you. But I am so glad that I got to see you and hold your hand and kiss you and say my good byes to you on Sunday evening. I know you heard me talking to you. You were 12 year old when I was born and Rosemarie was 11. I have been told so many stories about how you washed my cloth diapers by hand and helped Mama take care of me. I will and am unable to ever forget you and Brannie coming to me that horrific morning at the Princetown Trooper Barracks when I had been told that Liza had been murdered. And then you came home with me and sat with me for a very long time that day. You will always be my favorite sister because you were so much like our Dad. I will love and miss you forever. Until I see you again.
Love, your baby sister and flower girl, Martha
