Obituary of Anthony M. Christopher, Jr.
Anthony M. Christopher, Jr., 16, of Troy, beloved son of Amber N. Brown, was senselessly taken away from her and his family due to gun violence on January 6, 2022.
Born in Hudson, New York he is the son of Amber Brown and Anthony M. Christopher, Sr. and was educated at the Troy High School Sunset Program as a structured and formal education was not necessarily for him.
Anthony was also known as “Tookie”, “Big Don” and “Ant Daklikka” amongst his family and friends and those in the music industry where he was an aspiring rap artist and entrepreneur.
His loving memory will live on in all of those who got the chance to know him during this short period here on earth as one who could make a room light up, for his love to eat and smoke, for always being on the phone with the girls, being fun filled, loving, caring and loyal, a genius, an inspiration to so many, known as a class clown and a practical joker and would steal your chips or your socks but most of all for being his mom’s best friend.
In addition to his mom Amber and his father Anthony, Sr., Anthony is the loving brother of Jaylinn “Boogs” Brown, Daiquan “DaiDai” Brown, Adonis “AJ” Johnson, Demetrius “Meechie” Johnson and Giovanni “GiGi” Christopher, grandson of Eleanor “Blondie” Steinke, Elizabeth Phillip-Little and Jackqueline Holcomb, nephew of Karen, Mark, Jamie and Brianna and to Timothy Christopher, Renee Christopher, Doreen Christopher, Tomika Holcomb and Tiasia Holcomb, also survived by a host of relatives and friends.
Anthony’s family wish to let those who have shown their genuine concern and support that they extremely appreciate everything that has been done for them during this most difficult time.
Private funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc., 565 Fourth Ave, Troy, NY 12182.
