Rich Okonski posted a condolence

On behalf of the Okonski family and the employees of Troy Boiler Works, I would like to extend our deepest condolences to Kenneth's son, Ken and the rest of his family. My brother Lou has memories of talking to Kenneth years ago when Kenneth talked about the old business during the Great Depression, and how Kenneth would defer and forgive payments for people who were down on their luck. I am fortunate to know Ken in business over a few decades. He has always been honorable, patient and kind in his dealings with me. I imagine that a large part of Kenneth's legacy is what he passed on to his family, as it shows in Ken. Our deepest sympathize during your time of bereavement,

Ken and family,
I am truly sorry to hear of your dad's passing. He was quite a remarkable guy and his legacy is everywhere there is a member of your family.
He was a gentleman in a business that didn't breed many gentlemen.
I will always remember his quiet demeanor, his genuine interest, his kind words and warm smile when I visited the office.
He was a great man and his memory will be cherished.
God bless the Ray family.
Tim

To the Ray family, I am so sorry for your loss. Mr. Ray was just the nicest and kindest gentleman anyone could meet. Many fond memories of chatting with the two Kens in the shop about business. His daily treks down from Sycaway to work in his later years were amazing. God Bless you all at this difficult time.
