Obituary of Tammy M. Hayden
Tammy Marie Hayden, 52, of S. Glens Falls, passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2022.
Born and educated in Troy, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Catherine Ibbott Hayden.
Tammy had been employed at Cumberland Farms at Exit 18 of the Northway.
She enjoyed watching movies, family gatherings, and spending time with her children and Grandchildren and was passionate about speaking and supporting others in times of need.
Her hobbies and interests included: Learning cosmetology and sharing her knowledge with others, writing, reading, long conversations about anything and everything, unveiling the beauty of life even within the hardest times, and lest we forget- sending her children TikTok's at 4 AM.
She was a strong supporter and advocate for Domestic Violence Awareness and was an adamant animal lover and thus was apparent when she’d foster cats from the shelter her eldest daughter (Alicia) volunteered at.
She is the beloved mother of Alicia Russell (Her husband Billy), Cheyenne Grant (Her fiance Micheal W.) Ricky Grant, Sadies Grant, Jesse Grant (Her partner Tory L.), Josh Mcguirk (His wife Marissa) Shawn Mcguirk (His fiancée Jen.)
Sister of James Hayden, Donny Hayden, and Michelle Hayden.
Grandmother of Ethan, Matthew, Tory Jr., Madison, Melody, Ventus and soon-to-be Grandchild of Marissa and Josh Mcguirk.
Also survived by her aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to visitation at the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 RT-9, Clifton Park, NY 12065 on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. and to the Funeral Service of Remembrance at 1:00 p.m. that afternoon.
Tammy’s family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to friends, extended family, and the Middle Falls Fire Department for their unwavering support, charity, and respect during such an unexpected state of anguish.
