Diane Dupire (Brown)

Obituary of Diane S. Dupire (Brown)

Diane S. Dupire [Brown], beloved mother, sibling, grandma and friend, passed away on April 4th, 2022 at the young age of 58, surrounded by 3 of her daughters and her brother, Steven. She leaves behind daughters Amanda Killian-Irwin, Carly Briguglio, Ashley Dupire, and another daughter Deanna Dupire as well as her own brothers and sisters Cathie, David, Steven and another brother Mike along with nieces and nephews and grandchildren. She was born in Troy, New York at Samaritan Hospital on September 21, 1963 to parents Leonard and Patricia Rossi Brown, and passed away in the same place she began her life. Diane was loved by many, both here in Troy, New York and back west in Arizona and New Mexico, where she spent a large portion of her life before returning home to Troy in 2016.

Diane loved to help people, whether it was from acts of service, or simply to offer a smile and her support. She took great care to make sure her children were taken care of to the best of her ability, despite the hardships and challenges the world had to offer. Diane went above and beyond academically, as well as in the workplace. She loved challenges and critical thinking, and loved to offer her knowledge and skills wherever possible.

Diane was an avid reader of horror and mystery novels, and loved her scary movies. She enjoyed cracking open a cold beer and relaxing after work, and having barbeques and get-togethers in the backyard with family and friends. She loved to listen to music, and loved to play her facebook games [she was obsessed with Candy Crush and Bejeweled]. Diane enjoyed cooking, embroidery, gardening, and nature watching from her desk at home, which had a great view of the backyard with frequent deer and small creature visitors. Diane loved to watch the red cardinal birds come and go, which reminded her of her son Carmine, her daughter Diane and her sister Tina, all of whom had passed away.

*Diane's wish was to be cremated. There will be no burial service or funeral service for Diane, however, Diane did wish for her family to throw a "Celebration of Life" for her. This celebration will be held privately at the residence of her children, Carly and Ashley and her niece Kate on Saturday, April 9th. Attendees may arrive as early as 11:00 AM.*

**This is a casual event to meet with the family of Diane and remember her in life. You are not being asked to bring anything with you, however there will be room for anything you do bring for the celebration. A posting for the celebration was made on Social media with the location of the event, but if you should have questions please contact the family directly. Donations for Diane's Celebration or related expenses are currently not being requested, however if you would like to donate to Diane, we will accept them and apply them to Diane's celebration costs or other related expenses during this difficult time.**

***Please note, if you are attending the Saturday Celebration of Life, parking is limited to street parking only [*there is a small parking lot across from the location of the gathering, the owners of that parking lot will tow any vehicle that parks there, so please be mindful of that risk*]***

Funeral arrangements were entrusted by the family to the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc., 565 Fourth Ave, Troy, NY 12182.
